  • Day 01 – Dubai / Chengdu / Mt. Qingcheng

    Upon arrival, be met & transfer to your hotel in Mt. Qingcheng for 2 nights stay. En route, we stop at Dujiangyan Irrigation system, about 60km northwest of Chengdu, a UNESCO world heritage site.

    Arrive at the beautiful Six Senses Resort, located at the picturesque gateway to the majestic Qing Cheng Mountains. Drawing upon the renowned Six Senses perspective of responsible luxury, the resort has been brilliantly designed to incorporate regional architecture and landscaping, resulting in an extraordinary cultural offering with a strong sense of place wedded to contemporary attitude.

  • Day 02 – Mt. Qingcheng

    This morning, you will drive to the Panda Base at Dujiangyan, to visit one of the conservation and research centers for Giant Pandas. As Wolong Panda center was badly damaged by an earthquake, 14 giant pandas were moved and protected in this new base sponsored by Hong Kong's special administrative region (SAR) council.


    Experience Panda Volunteer work at the center to gain a better understanding of the life of this endangered species. With the guidance of the panda keeper, you can help clean the pandas’ enclosure, prepare their food, and monitor the pandas and learn to take good care of the pandas.
    (Health check is required in advance and the program needs to be reserved at least 1 month prior to the visit. Volunteer Program: HK$ 1,300/- per person. Kids under 6 can’t join this program)

    You can have an opportunity to take photographs with pandas in the center. (Please note photography with panda is subject to the health of the pandas and approval from local authorities. Photography with Panda: HK$2,250/- per person, pay on site)


    Afternoon, continue to explore Mt. Qingcheng, one of the most famous Taoist mountains in China. Covered by luxuriant and verdant trees and a number of Taoist temples, Mt. Qingcheng is always the best pilgrimage for Taoist believers. In 2000, it was listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

  • Day 03 – Mt. Qingcheng / Chengdu

    This morning, you will have some leisure time to enjoy the resort, particularly the Spa’s signature treatments.

    Before lunch, check out hotel and head for Jie Zi old town, one of the most beautiful old town in Sichuan. 


    Of the eight major schools of China's culinary art, Sichuan cuisine is perhaps the most popular. Originating in Sichuan Province of western China, Sichuan cuisine, known as Chuan Cai in Chinese, enjoys an international reputation for being spicy and flavorful. You will join a cooking class at Sichuan Cuisine Museum (Cooking class: HK$600/- per person.)


    Late afternoon, return to Chengdu. If time and energy permits, explore Kuan-zhai alley. Being not only age-old but also full of up-to-date features, the east-west Kuan-zhai Alleys have become one of the most-visited historic and cultural spots.

  • Day 04 – Chengdu / Mt. Leshan / Chengdu

    Today, make an excursion (about 1½ hours’ drive) to see the Le Shan Big Buddha, the largest stone carved sitting Buddhist statue in the world. We will have the opportunity to climb the entire height of the Buddha as well as enjoying a boat ride to view the Buddha from the river.

    Late afternoon, return to Chengdu. After dinner, you will enjoy a unique and disappearing Sichuan performing art – Bian Lian (face changing). More exciting, you can also visit the back stage of the theatre and see how the actors dress up before the performance, if interested, you can even dress up in the costume.

  • Day 05 – Chengdu

    You will start your morning with a leisure stroll in people’s park, where you can see some interesting lifestyle of local people. Followed by a guided tour to Dufu Thatched Cottage, home to Du Fu, a very famous poet. It has become a shrine to Chinese literature and a commemorative museum in the form of a traditional garden. Then sip up a cup of Sichuan tea at nearby teahouse, where you can learn to play Mahjong with local people.


    You will visit Jinsha Museum, located at the site of the Jinsha Ruins, one of China's most significant recent archaeological discoveries. Discovered in 2001, it consists of a five-square kilometer area that was found to contain important relics of an ancient kingdom that predated Chinese settlement in the area. Relics such as the Sun and immortal Bird Gold ornament, as well as areas once used for sacrifice, residences, and graveyards can all be found here. You visit not only the museum itself, but also the excavation site of the ruins.  (Admission fee: HK$ 100/- person)

    Visit the Panda breeding center, one of the thematic museums for rare and endangered animal species. This has been created and imitated the pandas’ natural habitat in order for the pandas to have the best possible environment for rearing and breeding. This center cares also for other rare and endangered wild animals. (Surcharge: 2 persons: AED 190/- person)


    Transfer to the airport for return flight.
