  • Day 02 - Dubai/Delhi/Chandigarh/Shimla

    Upon arrival, be me and transfer to Shatabdi train 0740 hour and arrive 1100 hour at Chandigarh. On arrival, drive 4 hours to Shimla including one hour lunch stop. Shimla was the Summer Capital of India during British rule and most of the buildings are constructed by Britons. Evening, visit Jakhu Temple and take a scenic walk for 1.5 km down to enjoy some shopping in Mall Road, where no vehicular traffic is allowed making it pollution free.

  • Day 02 - Shimla

    After breakfast, experience the UNESCO World Heritage Kalka – Shimla toy train leaving 1030 hour for short 45 minutes ride to Taradevi. After lunch, start a short hike of 6km to Indian Institute of Advanced Studies, housed in the Viceregal Lodge, which was built in 1884-88 during the British times.

  • Day 03 - Shimla/ Manali

    After breakfast drive to Manali. This journey offers a dramatic changes in nature from Lower Himalayas to Shivalik Himalayas and then again to the lower Himalayas. Enjoy the scenic drive through valley structures and along rivers. Enroute, stop at Bajaura to visit Basheshar Mahadev temple with fine stone carvings and sculptures believed to have been built in the mid 8th century.

  • Day 04 - Manali

    Take the day to explore Manali, the queen of the hill stations. Have a light hike from your hotel to 500 years old wooden carved Hidimba Devi Temple. The stroll or drive continues further to Old Manali village, which is known after the great Hindu sage Manu. Head further into another village of Goshal and cross through River Beas to a spectacular waterfall - Jogni Fall. Next village is Vashishat, known for its sulphur hot springs.

  • Day 05 - Manali/Solang/Manali

    Morning, drive to Solang to enjoy paragliding or skiing (Optional). Continue to SnowPoint which is the maximum approachable road towards Rohtang Pass(3978m) depending on snow condition. Between July to October, you can arrive on top of Rohtang Pass and view the peaks, mountains and glaciers of Chandra-Bhaga range. Most of the peaks are above 5000m and snow capped all year round.

    On arrival at the maximum point, take a light hike for 1 ½ hour for even greater view of the Himalayas. Enjoy packed lunch at the highest point, then trek down and drive back to Manali.

  • Day 06 - Manali-Dharamasala

    Early morning drive 8-9 (260 km) hours to Dharamsala. Enroute visit key temples and monasteries in the area. Stop at the Town of Shiva – Baijnath and visit the 13th century Shiva temple. After visiting Baijnath drive to Chamuda Devi temple dedicated to Goddess Kali (Goddess of War) on the bank of Baner River.

  • Day 07 - Dharamasala

    After breakfast, drive to visit Norbulinga Institute known for its various schools of Tibetan paintings and handicraft training. Visit Dalai Lama monastery and Tibet Museum. After lunch, enjoy a walk towards Triund for around 1 ½ hour to view the Dauladhar range of Himalayas. After, trek back to your Hotel.

  • Day 08 - Dharamasala/ Amritsar

    After experiencing the Tibetan philosophy and their life in India, drive 6-7 hours (200 km) to Amritsar. Amritsar - the holy town of Sikhs, has grown from a sacred village pond into a spiritual temporal center of Sikh culture.

    Today, visit Wagah, on the India-Pakistan Border where one of the oddest spectator activities play out: the Flag Ceremony! Soldiers from each side lower their nations' flags in mirror-image display of high-step marching and jingoistic posturing that routinely draw thousands of onlookers.

  • Day 9 - Amritsar

    Today, explore the spectacular Golden Temple, and the iconic Hari Mandir and Darbar Sahib. Cross the Guru’s Bridge and visit the Darshani Deorhi where many devotees pay respect. At lunch, you might like to join in the daily Guru Ka Langar where free food is given to all - signifying equality which is the fundamental principle of Sikhism.

    Visit the Jallianwala Bagh, famous for its notorious massacre during the British rule. Evening, return to the Golden Temple to witness the evening prayer.

    Optional: You may also witness the singing of Hymns (Kirtan) which start at 2-3 am in the morning and after an hour later, it is followed by Asa Di War prayer reciting. Guru Granth Sahib Ji is carried on a palanquin from Akal Takht to temple’s sanctum sanctorum.

  • Day 10 - Amritsar/ Delhi /Dubai

    This morning, fly to Delhi.

    Check into your day-use room near the airport. Transfer to the airport for you flight home.
