  • Day 01 - Dubai / Lima

    Upon arrival, be met and transferred to your hotel for a good rest.

  • Day 02 - Lima

    This morning, have a panoramic tour of the historic centre of Lima – a UNESCO world heritage site! Roam the old colonial streets and the modern district of San Isidro and Miraflores. Be impressed by the Larco Museum with the most extensive collection of pre-Columbian art in Peru.

    Enjoy a traditional criolla lunch at an old manor house with pisco sour tasting – Peru’s national drinks

    Complete your city tour with a visit to the Bohemian neighbourhood of Barranco, known for its artist studios, open-air market, and picturesque parks.  

    OPTIONAL: CULINERY EXPERIENCE WITH TOP CHEF
    This evening, enjoy an intimate culinary workshop with Pedro Miguel Schiaffino, renowned chef of Malabar – one of the World’s Best 100 Restaurants.

  • Day 03 - Lima / Arequipa

    Altitude: Arequipa (2,380m)

    Enjoy morning at leisure before you are transferred to airport for flight to Arequipa.

    Arequipa is also known as the ‘White City. Explore the elegant historic centre made with sillar, including Santa Catalina Convent, La Compania de Jesus Church and the Yanahuara neighbourhood. This afternoon, make a visit to the Museum of Andean Sanctuaries to see the Juanita Mummy.

  • Day 04 - Arequipa / Colca Canyon

    Altitude: Colca Canyan (3,400 – 4,900m)

    Start driving into the Colca Valley in the early morning. Driving across Pampa Cañahuas and Chucura Volcano, and pass through Tocra, where you’ll see lakes with their migrant birds. Reaching the Mirador de los Andes (4,900m), where you have spectacular views of the snow-capped peaks of the various volcanoes surrounding Arequipa.

    Arrive in Chivay town where beautiful pre-Columbian terraces still being cultivated by native people can be observed. Enjoy Hot Spring Thermal and Medicinal Baths after a long day.

    Overnight: Colva Canyon

  • Day 05 - Colca Canyon

    Explore the Colca Canyon, one of the deepest in the World (3,180m) today! Travel to the Cruz del Condor viewpoint to see these majestic birds in flight and go on a 1-hour canyon walk.

    Visit the traditional village of Pinchollo and the “Antahuilque viewpoint”, where wonderful 1,500 year old terraces, constructed by the Collaguas. Continue to Yanque, featuring beautiful colonial churches and pre-Inca hanging tombs.

  • Day 06 - Colca Canyon / Puno or Lake Titicaca

    Altitude: Lake Titicaca (3,812m)

    Today, set off for a 6-hour journey to the town of Puno, on the shores of Lake Titicaca. On the way, make a visit at Sillustani, a pre-Incan burial ground.

    Depends on your choice of accommodation, you will spend 2 nights either at Puno or on the island of Lake Titicaca.

    Meals: Breakfast, lunch (full board for clients staying at Amantica Lodge)

  • Day 07 - Puno - Lake Titicaca

    Take a boat ride across Lake Titicaca – the world’s highest navigable lake. Visit the unique floating Tortora reed island of the Uros and Llachon IslandEnjoy authentic village walks, visits to family house, witness the farming and weaving activities of the locals and tasting local cuisine. Return to Puno this afternoon.

    *Activities may vary if clients are staying at Titilaka or Amantica Lodge 

     

    Optional: Homestay experience on the floating island
    Live like a local for an overnight on the fascinating reed floating islands of Uros. Get amazed observing everything made out of reeds, from the houses to the island itself, you are welcomed by the local family and accommodated in one of the reed houses for visitors.

  • Day 08 - Puno or Lake Titicaca / Cuszo / Pisac / Sacred Valley

    Altitude: Cuzco (3,399 m); Sacred Valley (2,871 m)

     Fly  Juliaca / Cuzco  LA 2122  1250/1345 – Daily (55m)

    Upon arrival, descend to Sacred Valley. Drive to the archaeological site of Pisac, an impressive Inca complex, with terraces built on its hills and colour markets. Try some local corn beer – chicha on the way.

    Enjoy lunch at a house with owners private collection of pre-Colombian, Incan and colonial artefacts. Arrive Urubamba in the late afternoon, a small town under the snow-capped mountain Ch’iqun.

    Overnight: Sacred Valley
    Meals: Breakfast, lunch

  • Day 09 - Sacred Valley

    Today, have an excursion to Moray terraces and Maras Salt Mines. You may explore from Moray to Maras by short trek or mountain biking. Check with us for more details.

    After lunch, return to Urubamba and you can enjoy some free time for optional hiking or explore the activities by your lodge:

    • Huertos De Yucay Hike: The trail takes you to the area’s platforms and crop fields. (2.5 hours / 5.5 km)
    • Pumamarca Trekking: This exploration is an opportunity to discover one of the area’s most puzzling and isolated Inca remains. (3.5 hours / 6km)

     

    Overnight: Sacred Valley
    Meals: Breakfast, lunch  

    OPTIONAL 1-DAY EXTENSION: SLEEPING IN THE SKY
    The Skylodge Adventure Suites - a completely transparent hanging bedroom, overlooking the Sacred Valley. You will need to climb Via Ferrata or hike through ziplines. Enjoy a gourmet dinner under thousands of stars.

  • Day 10 - Sacred Valley / Ollantaytambo / Machu Picchu

    Altitude: Aguas Calientes (2,040 m); Machu Picchu (2,430m)

    This morning, drive to the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo. Take the train to Machu Picchu.

    Explore Machu Picchu in the late afternoon when the masses of tourists are gone and the ruin are at its best!

    Today, you will stay overnight either at Aguas Calientes, the gateway of Machu Picchu or Belmond Sanctuary Lodge, the only hotel at Machu Picchu.

  • Day 11 - Machu Picchu / Cuzco

    Altitude: Cuzco (3,399m)

    You may continue to explore Machu Picchu in the early morning. For the energetic one, you may climb to the Sun Gate or Huayna Picchu.

    After lunch, take the train back to Ollantaytambo.

    On the way to Cuzco, make a stop at Chinchero (3,762 m) and visiting a weaving cooperative, an important preserved ancient traditions which the women earn a livelihood. 

    OPTIONAL: UPGRADE TO HIRAM BINGHAM LUXURY TRAIN

  • Day 12 - Cuzco

    This morning, explore this exotic Inca capital, which has been listed as a World Heritage Site. From the main square to the Cathedral and Santo Domingo Church. Continue to San Blas, a picturesque neighbourhood and end with a visit at San Pedro Market.

    This afternoon, continue to Coricancha, the Temple of Sun. Visit Sacsayhuaman Fortress, an amazing and huge stone construction.

    This evening, join an entertaining night walking tour around the ancient city map, learn some interesting details about the city's history, and her very real legends.

  • Day 13 - Cuzco / Lima / Dubai

     

    OPTIONAL: CUYUNI VILLAGE TREK – recommend for min 4 persons
    Make an excursion to the remote mountain village of Cuyuni. You’ll have a chance to mingle and stroll with residents. Take the evening flight to Lima after dinner
