  • Day 01 - Dubai / Lima

  • Day 02 - Lima

    This morning, have a panoramic tour of the historic centre of Lima – a UNESCO world heritage site! Roam the old colonial streets and the modern district of San Isidro and Miraflores. Be impressed by the Larco Museum with the most extensive collection of pre-Columbian art in Peru.

    Enjoy a traditional criolla lunch at an old manor house with pisco sour tasting – Peru’s national drinks

    Complete your city tour with a visit to the Bohemian neighbourhood of Barranco, known for its artist studios, open-air market, and picturesque parks. 

    OPTIONAL: CULINERY EXPERIENCE WITH TOP CHEF
    This evening, enjoy an intimate culinary workshop with Pedro Miguel Schiaffino, renowned chef of Malabar – one of the World’s Best 100 Restaurants.

  • Day 03 - Lima / Cuzco / Pisac / Sacred Valley

    Upon arrival, descend to Sacred Valley. Drive to the archaeological site of Pisac, an impressive Inca complex, with terraces built on its hills and colour markets. Try some local corn beer – chicha on the way.

    Enjoy lunch at a house with owners private collection of pre-Colombian, Incan and colonial artefacts. Arrive Urubamba in the late afternoon, a small town under the snow-capped mountain Ch’iqun.

    OPTIONAL 1-DAY EXTENSION: SLEEPING IN THE SKY

  • Day 04 - Sacred Valley / Ollantaytambo / Machu Picchu

    This morning, drive to the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo. Take the train to Machu Picchu.

    Explore Machu Picchu in the late afternoon when the masses of tourists are gone and the ruin are at its best!

    Today, you will stay overnight either at Aguas Calientes, the gateway of Machu Picchu or Belmond Sanctuary Lodge, the only hotel at Machu Picchu.

  • Day 05 - Machu Picchu / Cuzco

    Altitude: Cuzco (3,399m)

    You may continue to explore Machu Picchu in the early morning. For the energetic one, you may climb to the Sun Gate or Huayna Picchu.

    After lunch, take the train back to Ollantaytambo.

    On the way to Cuzco, make a stop at Chinchero (3,762 m) and visiting a weaving cooperative, an important preserved ancient traditions which the women earn a livelihood.

  • Day 06 - Cuzco

    This morning, explore this exotic Inca capital, which has been listed as a World Heritage Site. From the main square to the Cathedral and Santo Domingo Church. Continue to San Blas, a picturesque neighbourhood and end with a visit at San Pedro Market.

    This afternoon, continue to Coricancha, the Temple of Sun. Visit Sacsayhuaman Fortress, an amazing and huge stone construction.

    This evening, join an entertaining night walking tour around the ancient city map, learn some interesting details about the city's history, and her very real legends.

  • Day 07 - Cuzco / Puno or Lake Titicaca

    Altitude: Lake Titicaca (3,812m)

    Today, set off for a 6-hour journey to the town of Puno, on the shores of Lake Titicaca. On the way, make a visit at Sillustani, a pre-Incan burial ground.

    Depends on your choice of accommodation, you will spend 2 nights either at Puno or on the island of Lake Titicaca.

    Overnight: Puno / Lake Titicaca
    Meals: Breakfast, lunch (full board for clients staying at Amantica Lodge)

  • Day 08 - Puno - Lake Titicaca

    Take a boat ride across Lake Titicaca – the world’s highest navigable lake. Visit the unique floating Tortora reed island of the Uros and Llachon Island. Enjoy authentic village walks, visits to family house, witness the farming and weaving activities of the locals and tasting local cuisine. Return to Puno this afternoon.
    *Activities may vary if clients are staying at Titilaka or Amantica Lodge

  • Day 09 - Puno / Copacabana / Lapaz
    Altitude: La Paz (3,650m)

    This morning, drive along the lake to Copacabana, after crossing the border to Bolivia. Make a short visit to the Moon and Sun Islands on a private boat ride. Visit the 'Inak Uyu' Sun Virgin's temple and ruins of Pilcocaina, descend the Inca steps of Yumani to the fountain of youth. 
    *A reasonable degree of fitness is required for footpath hiking on Sun Island.

    Continue another 2.5 hours drive to La Paz. Settle down at your hotel and spend the rest of the day to acclimatize at the highest capital city in the world.

  • Day 10 - La Paz

    Enjoy an orientation of the city. Visit the famous Plaza Murillo and the famous colonial street Jaen. Visit the Museum of Folklore and Ethnography (Closed in afternoons of Sat & Sun), to get an insight on the Bolivian culture and traditions.

    Continue to the ‘Witches Market’ where you will find traditional remedies and witchcrafts to offer to the Mother Earth. Take the highest cable car of the world for a panoramic view of the city.

    This afternoon, visit the Moon Valley, a natural area formed due to the erosion and he neighborhoods of La Florida, Calacoto and Obrajes.

  • Day 11 - La Paz / Colchani
    Altitude: Colchani (3,670m)
     Fly  La Paz / Colchani  OB 302 0810/0900 – Daily (50m) 

     

    Take the 4WD to the Salar de Uyuni - the world’s largest salt desert. Make a visit to the Incahuasi Island (access to island may not be possible between Nov – Mar due to high rainfall). Continue to the Salt Hotel Museum, which was the first property made completely of salt bricks.

    Drive towards the tiny village of Coquesa, there you will have a short hike to reach its cave containing ancient mummies; you will also be able to get close to the Thunupa Volcano. (Access to Thunupa and Coquesa may not be possible between Nov – Mar, wet season)

  • Day 12 - Colchani / Potosi / Sucre

    Altitude: Potosi (4,090m); Sucre (2,810m)

    Get up before sunrise for the final glimpse of the salt lake, you have the best shot of the giant mirror in the twilight – from starry sky to morning ray.

    Start the road journey across the Andes, a 3-hour drive brings you to Potosi. Visit the National House of Mint (closed on Sun & Mon), which has an excellent exhibition documenting the history of Potosi's silver production. Strolling around the traditional colonial streets and churches. Another 3 hours bring you to Sucre.

  • Day 13 - Sucre
    It's possible to say that Sucre is Bolivia’s most beautiful city. Explore its architectural treasures including San Francisco, San Lázaro, Santo Domingo and the Metropolitan Cathedral. Also of note here is the Casa de la Libertad, the perfect spot to brush up on your Bolivian history. Discover at the Indigenous Art Museum (ASUR) (closed on Sun) the features of textiles from two Quechua communities, the Jalq'a and Tarabuco.

  • Day 14 - Sucre / Lima / Dubai
    Depart to airport this morning for your flight to Lima via Santa Cruz.

    Upon arrival, be met and transferred to Miraflores in Lima and have some time at leisure. Miraflores has some of the best restaurants in town.  Late evening, transfer back to airport for your flight back home.

After lunch, visit a handicrafts centre, the main square and its surroundings. On the way back to the town, make a stop at Cascadas de las Cuevas, an exotic place with clear small waterfalls
