  • Day 01 - 06/07 Dec (Wed/Thu) - Dubai / Paris

  • Day 02 - 8 Dec (Fri) - Havana

    In 1982, the UNESCO declared Havana’s historic city center as a world cultural heritage site. There is no city in whole Latin America with a larger colonial center. We spend the full day in the Colonial and Old Havana exploring on foot to photograph the contrast of these interesting areas - from stunning colonial fortifications to magnificent palaces and colorful characters, beauty of Havana Vieja to the backstreet of the city. Highlights include Old-Havana: Plaza de Armas, Templete, Palace of the Generals, Cathedral Square, Plaza Vieja, Hemingway’s “Bodeguita".

    Before arriving Vinales, we will first visit the community "Las Terrazas", with insights to socio cultural structures. Then continue to the “Casa del Veguero" (house of a tobacco farmer). Tour over tobacco fields and through a drying house. Tour includes "Fábrica de Bebidas Guaybita", a liquer factory in the town of Pinar del Rio.

    After lunch, visit to the private house of local artists showcasing his art projects and wood carvings in his garden.

  • Day 03 - 09 Dec (Sat) - Havana / Las Terrazas / Havana

    Get an early start today. Start a longer day excursion to “Las Terrazas”, with insights to socio cultural structures and coffee production. Then continue to a local house of a tobacco farmer. Tour over tobacco fields and through a drying house.

    On our return, a rare opportunity to meet and review the works of Roberto Salas. The son of the accomplished Cuban born photographer Osvaldo Salas, it was his son Roberto who caught the attention of Fidel Castro, himself. For nearly fifty years, Roberto has lived in Cuba and worked as a freelance photographer, documenting the stories of that nation, the saga of its revolution and the life of its enigmatic leader. His work is extraordinary for it's perspective and it's breadth.

  • Day 04 - 10 Dec (Sun) - Havana / Cienfuegos / Trinidad

    This morning departing to Cienfuegos, a pretty colonial town with a strong historic French connection. A short tour will bring you to the Tomas Terry Theatre and the architecturally important Palacio del Valle.cuba3

    Onwards to Trinidad along the coastal road with beautiful vistas of the Caribbean sea en-route. Trinidad is far and away the most handsome town in Cuba, with multi coloured pastel hued terraces and rust-red roofs. In the colonial area, especially between 1750 and 1850, sugar cane was huge, and fabulously rich Spanish families raised gorgeous mansions around Trinidad's main square off the back of their sugar mills in the valley.

  • Day 05 -11 Dec (Mon) - Trinidad

    Founded in the year 1514 and today Trinidad is the country`s most perfectly preserved colonial city. We enjoy a walking tour of this UNESCO World Heritage city this morning with lots of opportunity to capture your favorite nooks & corners. Stop at Casa del Alfarero to meet the Cuba family of pottery makers who has been making ceramics for generations using the traditional potter’s wheel.

    In the evening, experience a more authentic Cuban immersion at a local paladar.

  • Day 06 - 12 Dec (Tue) - Trinidad / Santa Clara / Cayo Santa Maria

    Today you will visit an old steam train station, take a ride to a local sugar plantations to understand the slave history in relation to the sugar industry. See slave quarters and understand how this system operated and the enormous impact sugar had on this area. See working plantation homes of the sugar barons and the ruins of an 18th Century sugar cane factory.

    Afterwards on your way to the Cayos stop in Santa Clara to visit the Che Guevara Memorial.

  • Day 07 - 13 Dec (Wed) - Cayo Santa Maria / Remedios / Cayo Santa Maria

    This morning, excursion to Remedios, one of the oldest settlements in the country. Take a ride by bicitaxi (rickshaw) through the town and into the main square. Meet the bicitaxi owners and gain insight into their daily routines and the ways they maintain their vehicles.

    In the afternoon, we will visit the Museum of Parrandas where you will discover the history of this spectacle traditions, you will also have chance to capture more daily life of this old settlement.

  • Day 08 - 14 Dec (Thu) - Cayo Santa Maria / Havana

    This morning we will return to Havana, the transfer will take approximately 6 hours with stops for refreshments along the way. At the Havana entrance, stop for a spectacular view old the city. Spend the late afternoon looking for great photo opportunities in the Old Town.

    The highlight tonight is dinner at La Guarida. Enrique and Odeisys Nunez first opened what has become Cuba's most celebrated paladar on July 14, 1996. Anyone who has been to La Guarida will find it difficult to disagree that Enrique and Odeisys have managed to create their own magical place. Crammed with antiques, a location that is impressive and great food combine to make this winning combination.

  • Day 09 - 15 Dec (Frit) - Havana

    After breakfast, we will do an exclusive backstage tour of Habana Queen Show, which is a well-known ballet show in town.

    In the afternoon, visit the Rafael Trejo Boxing Gym to capture people practicing here. Take a vintage car ride around Havana and get insight on how they repair or maintain their vehicles.

  • Day 10 - 16 Dec (Sat) - Havana / Paris / Dubai

    Enjoy the last day leisurely. Today we capture the images of Havana by the Atlantic. Start from Malecon, a broad esplanade, roadway and seawall which stretches for 8 km along the coast in Havana. Visit the fortress “Morro-Cabana", built from 1589 – 1630. The largest defensive complex constructed by the Spanish in the new world. Transfer to airport in the evening.
